Rapid Economic Development

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the city's gross domestic product (GDP) surpassed the 100-billion-yuan milestone, reaching 113.4 billion yuan. Total tourism expenditure maintained an average annual growth rate of 22.8%, while the value added of industrial enterprises above the designated size achieved an average annual increase of 5.7%. Meanwhile, several landmark major projects achieved critical progress:
· The first phase of the Huangshan Tourism T1 Line, China's first rail transit public-private partnership (PPP) project integrating culture and tourism, commenced construction.
· Nongfu Spring's Huangshan production base was completed and became operational.
· Major transportation arteries including the Huangchang-Jingdezhen-Huangshan High-Speed Railway, Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway, as well as Wuhu-Huangshan, Huangshan-Qiandao Lake, and Deqing-Shangrao Expressways were successively opened to traffic, injecting robust momentum into economic development.
