Huangshan reconnects with Busan after 9 years with new charter flight route
On April 15, a passenger flight from Busan, South Korea, carrying 154 travelers, landed at Huangshan Tunxi International Airport, marking the launch of the Huangshan–Busan international charter route. This is the airport's first flight to Busan in nine years.
Beijing Capital Airlines is set to operate a new route that will function biweekly on Tuesdays and Fridays until June 10. Additionally, there are plans for the route to resume service from September to November. The flight schedule includes a departure from Huangshan at 11:40 am, arriving in Busan at 3 pm. The return flight will depart Busan at 3:55 pm, with an expected arrival back in Huangshan at 5:30 pm. The airport anticipates accommodating 4,000 passengers during this operational period.
As South Korea has become Huangshan's top inbound tourism market, this new route aims to strengthen cultural, tourism, and economic exchanges between the two cities.
