A new air link between Huangshan, China and Hanoi, Vietnam has officially opened. The inaugural flight, a Vietravel Airlines A320 carrying 177 passengers, touched down smoothly at Huangshan Tunxi International Airport at 8:50 PM on October 10.

Operated by Vietravel Airlines, the route will see three flights every two weeks. Flight VU1236 departs Hanoi at 4:50 PM local time, arriving in Huangshan at 8:45 PM Beijing time. The return flight, VU1237, leaves Huangshan at 9:45 PM Beijing time and lands in Hanoi at 12:05 AM local time.

This new service is part of a major push to boost international connectivity. So far this year, Huangshan Airport has resumed or launched a total of eight international routes, connecting the city to destinations like Bangkok, Seoul, Busan, Cheongju, Kuala Lumpur, Ulaanbaatar, and now Hanoi. This expansion is fueling a steady rise in inbound tourism for Huangshan.
