On Nov 2, the 21st China Huangshan International Mountain-Climbing Competition opened at the North Gate of the Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, attracting 2,500 participants from over 20 countries and regions, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, and Malaysia.

The event included both experience and competition categories. The experience route covered about 8 kilometers along the mountain road, while the competition route was 15 km, combining 8 km of road and 7 km of mountain trails.

Amid stunning autumn scenery, participants pushed their limits while enjoying famous Huangshan landmarks like Shixin Peak.

After intense competition, Wang Guolong from Zhejiang secured the men's title, while Le Qinghua from Fujian took the women's category.

To enrich the experience, various scenic spots throughout the city provided free or discounted tickets to participants, blending sports with tourism.

The event highlighted Huangshan's stunning natural scenery, welcoming atmosphere and growing reputation as a world-class destination for outdoor sports.
