Yixian wins annual awards at China's famous travel platform
At Trip.com Group's 2025 Global Partner Summit in Istanbul, Turkey, three scenic locations from Huangshan's Yixian county — Xidi, Hongcun, and Tachuan villages — received annual awards, emphasizing their outstanding tourism value and cultural significance.
During the summit, which gathered global tourism leaders, Trip.com revealed its prestigious annual rankings driven by actual booking and review data from travelers worldwide. Xidi and Hongcun villages distinguished themselves through their powerful brand presence and popularity among visitors.
Hongcun was named in the "2026 China 100 Best Things to do" list, recognized for its ink-wash Huizhou architecture and rich cultural heritage that continues to attract visitors worldwide.
Xidi, known for its well-designed night tours, was listed in the "2026 China 100 Night Attraction" and animates the ancient village with beautiful light and shadow displays.
Tachuan received the honor of being named one of the "2026 China 50 Fall Viewing Attractions", highlighting its stunning autumn scenery as a must-visit destination.
Beyond the awards, the summit opened doors for strategic discussions and fostered international collaboration. Trip.com pledged to boost Huangshan's global visibility by promoting its rich Huizhou architecture, culture, and intangible heritage to attract more international tourists.
