    C. Background and Available Conditions

    1. Introduction of the project: Oil tea tree is a kind of woody plant. The tea oil produced from it is one of the healthy edible oil which is popularized by International Grain and Agricultural Organization. It is regarded as “olive oil in the East”. The oil has pure color and sweet flavor and is easy to be stored for a long time. It is a kind of green food with abundant nutrition and no pollution. Besides eating, the oil can be used as antipyretic and for reducing dampness. It also has a good effect on moistening your skin. In the industry, the tea oil can be made different kinds of chemical resources. The supplementary product, tea biscuit, can be extracted honey locust. The tea shell can be made active carbon.

    Tangkou Town is one of the main places where the oil tea grows. The area of oil tea totals 5 million square meters. The total output is about 50 thousand kilos. There is still an area of about 3 million square meters waiting to be developed. Besides, there is oil tea in nearby Yangcun Village and Qiashe Village of Huizhou District. But the transportation is not convenient. They can provide us more materials.

    Background: There are 11 tea oil processing factories in Tangkou Town. They can process tea oil of 45000 kilos one year. Although the tea oil has high quality, the old equipment and technology limited the development. We have no intensive processing and packing. So it has low economic value. Now, the oil is mainly sold to Jiangxi, Hunan and Zhejiang Provinces. So we planned to develop this project.

    D. Scale and Content

    We planned to build the processing factory in Gangcun village of Tangkou Town. It covers an area of 600 square meters where 50000-kilo oil can be processed one year. And we will build a sale center for the tea oil and create a trademark. At the same time, we will form a special team of agent. In order to reach the national food sanitation standard, we’ll rebuild the old workshop, buy some new equipment for intensive-processing and packing and develop the trademark.

    The project needs investment of 0.61 million yuan.

    G. Analysis of Benefit

    At the beginning, we can sell about 30000-kilo oil every year in terms of the oil of 60% is put to the market. The profit can be increased to 240,000 yuan. The investment will be won back in 2.5 years.
