Huizhou Economic Development Zone

The economical development zones will be built into new industrial towns or new part of the cities.

Currently there are 10 economical parks in Huangshan City, eight of which are economical development zones (EDZ) two are tourist resorts. The EDZ adds up to 57.16 square kilometers of planned area, of which 22.9 square kilometers have been completed, with 611 enterprises already inside the parks. The accomplished fixed assets investment has amounted to 12 billion yuan.

As the leading EDZ in the Municipality, the Huangshan EDZ takes up a planned area of 25 square kilometers, of which 5 square are completed. It features mechanical electronics, biological medicine, textile garment manufacturing and new material research and production.
