The Xin an River
The Xin'an River flows down from the LiuGuJian of Hecheng in Xiuning County at an altitude of 1,600 meters, meandering eastward and surging into the sea. Sometimes it paints freely and expressively, and sometimes it depicts meticulously, outlining an ecological environment that refreshes the heart and soul and a rich variety of landscapes. It showcases the harmony between man and nature, nourishing Anhui and Zhejiang provinces together.
She is a river of civilization that has flowed for a thousand years, nurturing the profound and extensive Huizhou culture; she is a river of beauty that is rich and varied, with distant mountains, nearby waters, and ancient villages hidden among them, as if a pot of ink had been overturned, staining the entire Huizhou land; she is a river of openness that never ceases to flow, gathering hundreds of rivers and streams, crossing mountains and ridges, flowing eastward to the sea, and embracing the world; she is a river of vitality and wealth, with ancient Huizhou merchants sailing their boats to the Huangpu River, the Pearl River, and the Victoria Harbour, writing a 300-year business legend of "no town without Huizhou people"; she is a river of innovation that dares to forge new paths, shouldering the sacred mission of pathfinder and exuding the outstanding quality of innovators.
The water, tinted blue, nurtures the persistence for greenery and also lifts up a steady sense of happiness.
